Why we do it this way
We can’t help two vans fight over one county
Local marketing is a zero-sum game. There are three spots in the map pack and a handful of ads at the top of Google. If we worked for two rubbish removal companies in the same county, we’d be competing against ourselves, and one of you would lose.
So we don’t. One client per territory, across every service, for as long as we work together. It keeps our advice honest and our attention on your patch.
How territories are drawn
Territories follow county lines everyone already knows. In England, each ceremonial county is one territory. Greater London is split into six areas of whole boroughs: Central, North, East, South East, South West and West. In Wales, each of the 22 counties and county boroughs is one territory. 74 in all.
The 21-day hold
If your county is free and we’re a good fit, we can hold it for you for 21 days while you decide. Nobody else can take it during that time, and the map shows it as On hold. When the 21 days are up, it goes back to Available.
FAQs
Territory questions
How big is a territory?
A territory is a county. In England that’s a ceremonial county, like Kent or West Yorkshire. Greater London is split into six areas, each made of whole boroughs. In Wales, each of the 22 counties and county boroughs, like Cardiff or Powys, is its own territory. That’s 74 in total.
What does exclusivity cover?
Everything. Once you’re our client in a territory, we won’t work with a competing man and van, waste removal, house clearance or removals business there on SEO, Google Ads, websites, conversion work or anything else.
How does the 21-day hold work?
If your county is available and the initial call shows we’re a good fit, we can put it on hold for you for 21 days while you decide. Nobody else can take it during the hold. When the 21 days are up, it goes back to Available.
What happens after I send an enquiry?
We review it and get in touch, usually within 1 working day, to book a free 30-minute call about your business, the scope of work and pricing. Sending an enquiry doesn’t reserve the county. No obligation.
What if my county is secured or on hold?
Join the waiting list for it. If it becomes available, we’ll be in touch. You can also check the map for a neighbouring county that’s free and fits your routes.
I work across more than one county. Is that a problem?
No. Tell us where your yard is and the areas you cover. We’ll talk through which territory fits you best, and whether more than one makes sense.
